Thanks to the resistance in Kobane that is ongoing for 80 days, YPG has become an internationally recognized force. As a result, people from the USA, Britain, Holland, Austria, and Canada and elsewhere are joining you. What do you want to say on this?

YPG is the only force fighting on a ground war against the terrorist organization ISIS which is targeting the whole world. While struggling against this terrorist organization, YPG is fighting on behalf of the all humanity.

A large number of peace willing, democratic people who appreciate our struggle are coming from different countries including the USA, France, England and Turkey to join YPG. Even a woman from Israel is among these people. They regard this force as a power which protects the values and will of their communities. That’s why they feel compassionate towards Kurds and join YPG. In other words, YPG is a force representing these people in any matter.

Everybody knows that YPG is fighting for their values, brotherhood and peace. That is why these people want to fight in the ranks of YPG. The way YPG is internationally known, once these people join YPG, they are also known by their communities and respected in their own country.

I can say the number of foreigners joining YPG is noticeably important and these people are fighting for the sake of humanity, for the values of their own communities. We have information that many people desire to join us from Europe, the USA, and even from China. Many people contact our friends via internet however; there are some difficulties in reaching us. Still, we are expecting an increase in the number of new people joining YPG in upcoming days.
